These Beef and Bell Pepper Rolls are a quick and delightful dish, combining the savory taste of beef with the crunch and color of bell peppers. Perfect as a snack or a side dish, they're not only a feast for the eyes but also for the palate, especially when dipped in a sweet and tangy all-purpose meat sauce.
Ingredients:
- Thinly Sliced Beef, 6 slices (our Thin Sliced Beef Ribeye Roll works well)
- Perilla Leaves, 6 pieces
- Bell Peppers (various colors), 1/3 of each
Dipping Sauce
- Soy Sauce, 1 tablespoon
- Water, 1 tablespoon
- Vinegar, 1 tablespoon
- Sugar, 1 tablespoon
- Salt, as needed
- Pepper, as needed
Instructions:
- Prepare 6 slices of thinly sliced beef. Pat dry with kitchen towels to remove any blood.
- Season each beef slice with a dash of salt and pepper.
- Cut the bell peppers into strips and wash the perilla leaves.
- Place a perilla leaf on each beef slice, add strips of different colored bell peppers, and roll tightly.
- Ensure the rolled part faces downwards to prevent unrolling.
- Start grilling the rolls from the rolled end first to keep them intact.
- Lightly oil a pan and cook the rolls over low heat until the beef is done.
- Slice the cooked rolls and they're ready to serve.
- Enjoy with an all-purpose meat sauce (mixture of soy sauce, water, vinegar, and sugar).
