It's a simple side dish that doesn't compromise on flavor, making it perfect for family meals. In less than 10 minutes, you can create a dish that's packed with nutrients and loved by all ages.

Ingredients:

  • Small Anchovies, 300cc (1 measuring bowl)
  • Oil, 3 tablespoons
  • Soy Sauce, 1 tablespoon
  • Cooking Sake, 1 tablespoon
  • Oligosaccharide (올리고당), 2 tablespoons (can substitute with simple syrup or similar sweetener)
  • Sugar, 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame Oil, 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame Salt, 1 tablespoon

Instructions:

  1. In a frying pan, dry-roast the anchovies over medium heat until they start to turn golden.
  2. Add 3 tablespoons of oil (canola oil recommended) and continue to stir-fry until you see slight bubbles. Then turn off the heat.
  3. Mix in 1 tablespoon each of cooking sake and soy sauce until evenly distributed.
  4. Add 2 tablespoons of oligosaccharide (syrup) and 1 teaspoon of sugar. Stir-fry briefly on low heat (about 3-5 seconds). (Sugar can be omitted if you prefer less sweetness.)
  5. Turn off the heat, then add 1 tablespoon each of sesame oil and sesame salt.
  6. Mix well, and the dish is ready to serve.

Notes: This dish is a great way to introduce seafood to kids, as the savory soy sauce and the slight sweetness make the anchovies more appealing. Feel free to adjust the sweetness to your liking.
