Korean Fish Cake Stir-Fry is a beloved dish, renowned for its versatility and delicious taste. Ingredients:

  • Square Fish Cakes, 3 sheets
  • Onion, 1/2 piece
  • Carrot, 1/4 piece
  • Sesame Seeds, to taste
  • Cooking Oil, as needed
Seasoning
  • Red Pepper Powder, 1 tablespoon
  • Soy Sauce, 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame Oil, 1 teaspoon
  • Oyster Sauce, 1 tablespoon
  • Oligosaccharide (올리고당 - can substitute with simple syrup or similar sweetener), 1.5 tablespoons
  • Minced Garlic, 1 teaspoon

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the stir-fry sauce by mixing the seasoning ingredients together.
  2. Blanch the fish cakes in boiling water or soak in hot water to remove impurities, then slice.
  3. Julienne the onion and carrot.
  4. Heat oil in a pan, then lightly fry the fish cakes. Add onion and carrot, and continue to stir-fry.
  5. Add the prepared spicy sauce and stir-fry everything together.
  6. Finish by sprinkling sesame seeds on top.

Notes: This dish can be customized to your spice preference. The combination of fish cakes with the crunch of fresh vegetables and the heat from the red pepper powder creates a balance of flavors that can be enjoyed by everyone.
