Ingredients:
- Potatoes, 3
- Onion, 1/2
- Oyster Sauce, 1 tablespoon
- Soy Sauce (Dark), 3 tablespoons
- Sugar, 1 tablespoon
- Oligosaccharide (올리고당 - can substitute with simple syrup or similar sweetener), 1 tablespoon
- Canola Oil, 1-2 tablespoons
- Minced Garlic, 1/2 tablespoon
- Whole Sesame Seeds, a small amount
Instructions:
- Cut the potatoes into bite-sized pieces and rinse in water. Chop the onion into small pieces.
- In a pan, add oil and half a tablespoon of minced garlic to make garlic oil. Use low heat to prevent burning.
- Once the garlic aroma develops, add the potatoes and onion, and stir-fry them.
- Add 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of sugar, and continue stir-frying.
- Cover with a lid and cook on low heat. This method cooks the potatoes thoroughly without the need for additional water.
- When the potatoes are nearly done, add 1 tablespoon of oligosaccharide and cook a bit longer.
- Turn off the heat and sprinkle with whole sesame seeds.
