Net Weight Transparency

At Kmeatbox, we prioritize transparency regarding the precise net weight of the meat in each of our marinated meat packs. Our marinated LA Galbi pack consists of 1lb of premium beef (including bone), coupled with our signature marinade, bringing the total weight of the marinated meat to approximately 1.3lbs.

Onion, garlic, kiwi, Korean pear, ginger, soy sauce (soywheat), sugar cane, sake, black pepper, sesame oil (sesame)

Flavor Profile

Galbi offers a balanced flavor that is both sweet and savory. Its marinade, made with soy sauce, sugar, garlic, and Korean pear, gives the beef short ribs a deep, satisfying taste. This straightforward and delicious mix of flavors is a hallmark of traditional Korean cuisine.

Cooking Instructions

Pan Frying

Heat up a large nonstick pan or skillet on high heat. Add Galbi to the pan/skillet, ensuring enough space between the Galbi pieces for even cooking. Sear over high heat and grill for approximately 4 minutes on one side, then 2 minutes on the other side - until they develop a beautiful caramelization. Once the meat takes on a rich golden-brown color, remove them from the heat.

Oven

Set the oven to bake at 450°F. Lay the Galbi pieces on an oven-safe pan, making sure they don't overlap. Bake for 6 minutes, then flip the Galbi pieces and bake for an additional 4 minutes.

Air Fryer

Place Galbi pieces in air fryer basket without overlapping. Cook at 400F for 6 minutes, then flip the Galbi pieces and cook for an additional 4 minutes.

Optional: Galbi is often enjoyed wrapped in red leaf lettuce. The crunchy freshness of the lettuce beautifully offsets the rich, savory flavor of the marinated beef short ribs.
