Beef Brisket Steamed Rolls with Miso-Mayo Sauce

Beef Brisket Steamed Rolls with Miso-Mayo Sauce

Perfect for a guest dinner, these beef rolls are easy to make and look great.

[Serves 1, Ready in 15 minutes, Easy to Make]

Ingredients

  • Beef Brisket Slices, 10 pieces (our Wagyu Thin Sliced Brisket works well)
  • Perilla Leaves, 5 pieces
  • Enoki Mushrooms, 1 bundle
  • Bean Sprouts, 1 handful

Miso-Mayo Sauce

  • Miso Paste, 1 tablespoon
  • Mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon
  • Corn Syrup, 1 tablespoon
  • Minced Garlic, 0.5 tablespoon
  • Red Pepper Powder, 0.3 tablespoon
  • Minced Green Chili Pepper, 1 piece
  • Water, 2 tablespoons

Instructions:

  1. Clean the enoki mushrooms by cutting off the ends and washing them. Wash the perilla leaves too. If the leaves are large, cut them in half.
  2. Place a perilla leaf on each slice of beef brisket, then add enoki mushrooms and roll them up.
  3. Spread a handful of bean sprouts at the bottom of a pot and place the rolled beef brisket on top. Steam for 10 minutes. Ensure the seam of the roll faces down.
  4. While the beef is steaming, prepare the sauce. Mix all the sauce ingredients thoroughly. Substitute miso paste with a milder store-bought version if needed.
  5. When the beef is cooked, plate beautifully and serve with the miso-mayo sauce.

Notes:

  • The miso-mayo sauce may seem unusual, but it pairs wonderfully with the beef.
  • This dish is quick to make, taking less than 15 minutes.
  • It's a beautiful, tasty dish that can impress guests or make a regular family meal special.

Enjoy your Beef Brisket Steamed Rolls with Miso-Mayo Sauce!
