Ingredients

  • Bean Sprouts, 250g
  • Green Onion (white part), 1/3 piece

  • Water, 1 cup
  • Salt, 1 Tbsp
  • Cooking Oil, 1 Tbsp
  • Red Pepper Powder, 1 Tbsp
  • Soup Soy Sauce, 0.5 Tbsp
  • Sesame Oil, 1 Tbsp
  • Roasted Sesame Salt, 1 Tbsp
  • Salt, 3 tsp

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the white part of the green onion.
  2. Prepare the bean sprouts by removing the heads and tails if preferred, then wash them under running water.
  3. In a pot, bring 1 cup of water to a boil, add 1 tablespoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of cooking oil.
  4. Add the prepared bean sprouts, cover with a lid, and boil for about 3 minutes.
  5. After boiling, let it sit covered for 30 seconds to 1 minute before opening.
  6. Drain the bean sprouts and rinse them once with cold water, then thoroughly drain.
  7. In a bowl, mix the bean sprouts and chopped green onions.
  8. Add the listed amounts of red pepper powder, soup soy sauce, sesame oil, roasted sesame salt, and salt to the bowl.
  9. Mix well until the bean sprouts are evenly coated with the seasoning.
  10. Your Spicy Bean Sprout Salad is ready to serve.
